  1. FEEDBACK: The guys (and Owner) of Solomans called me personally and said that he would assist me to swapping it out. This is amazing service. I am going to pop by this weekend to sort it out. This was not a bashing of the store or brand; it was that we as consumer should be more aware of the difference of models etc... Thank you to Solomans and Woodmead store staff for the amazing service.
  2. Just a short post so others don't fall in the same trap. Solomans has a special going on the Camelbak Mule NV for R899. I thought this was a great deal. I went onto the Camelbak website and studied their videos and decided the MULE and the hydration bag is the best avaiable. When going into Solomans they said the difference with the Red and Black (more expensive) was the colour. I bought it as the red is cool. A week later I opened it and found to my dissapointment that the hydration bag was a 2009 model and does not have MANY new feature as the 2011 bags. I tried changing it and addressing it with Camelbak in the US and RSA but I was directed back to Solomans. Guys if you buying the MULE, make sure you get the new bag as it has many cool feature. Quick way to know if it is the new bag is by looking at the quick realese at the bottom of the bag where the "straw" is attached to the bag. I am also dissppointed that there is no year on the bag so it is very tricky. I wish Camelbak has a way to identify the old model and new model. ;-(
