Event Name: Nguni Grill ROAD & MTB CHALLENGE When: 16 June 2012 Where: Polokwane, Limpopo Category: Multisport Youare invited to take part in the annual Nguni Grill Cycle Challenge hosted by Polokwane Pedallers on 16 June 2012. This year we have added an exiting Cross Country Mountain bike race to the menu. *Road Race*: There will be three distances this year: 1) A 70km event 2) A 35km event 3) A 1,4km fun ride for the kids. In an effort to make the sport a little more spectator friendly, as well as to deviate from the old recipe, we have decided to keep it close to town on a 17km loop. the 70km riders will do 4 laps, and the 35km race will do two laps. *Mountain Bike races:* (for 12 years and older ) For the first time the Nguni Grill Cycle Challenge will host MTB events as well, and again it was decided to deviate from the normal races by hosting a Cross Country (XC) short course event. The longer of the two events will be 6 laps around a 5,5km course, and 3 laps for the shorter event. This will give the spectators an opportunity to put op their camping chairs and enjoy the race much more, and see their favourite rider swooping past a few times, in contrast to the normal races where they only see the riders start and finish. *Venue, Registration and number collection*: The venue is the Nguni Grill on the corner of De Wet and Morris Streets, Bendor, Polokwane.
