  1. I decided on the Cannondale Super Six 3, now looking for the best price Western Cape area. Any hints who perhaps still has 2012 stock, size 56 or new 2013 at the best price.
  2. Lost of fokes with flats the first 15 km. Great ride, great event. Big up to the guys from Cape Town Giants for working hard up front on that looooong train, well orginised group.

  4. Thank you for the feedback: I have been looking around and my short list comes to: 1. Merida Reacto Scultura 907: R21 999. Has great looks and good components, not sure about the frame. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/merida-reacto-scultura-907?quicktabs_1=1#quicktabs-1 2. SCOTT CR1 Team Bike: R18 300. Scott fan, have MTB. Parts perhaps not as good as the others. Frame don't know. Looks on par would love the Pro's looks though. http://www.scott-sports.com/us/en/products/227778024/bike-cr1-team-20-xl58/ 3. Cannondale Super Six 3. R25499. 5. Hi, I am new to the cycle seen. Cycling on my own, on the road only. Every weekend on a MTB for the last 5 months. Doing a lot of spinning and cardio for the last 2 years and have decided to tests myself and have some outdoor fun. Did a 44km fun ride over the weekend and was pretty impressed how I cycled and this made me think, perhaps to switch to a road bike. I currently make use of a MTB with semi slicks. Budget 15-24k for a complete bike: No specific brand so far thus open for any sugggestions. Please let me know if you could recommend any specific bike. I am in the Somerset West region. PS: Currently 5kg over weight and not planning to make it up on the bike's weight. Added: Why Roadbike? MTB (Tubeless) was fun but was training to get fit on the road thus moved to slicks on the MTB. Will still keep the MTB back to tubless. Need something for Saterdays.
