I think that I was mentally and physically prepared for the race. The route was ok and above all familiar, with the exception for the N17 section?. However the 600gm kept ringing in my ear!

Hi Chaps I have a set of Mavic ES wheels which I use for ?the races?, and extremely have with them, posted a 2:36 and 2:40 on the P&P 94.7 and Fastone respectively, however yesterday decided to ?race? the Emperor?s with the Vuelta Carbon Pro (stunning looking) even though they weigh 600gm more?.. Net shocking result? could not stay on the climbs, posted 3:02 with a puncher? ?? when should one use carbon wheels?? Thanks

I triyed to sell this bike for a friend, which I them advertised on the Hub, however the responses where somewhat mixed... Best offer R2000 I decided to keep it for myself, seeing that "classics" are priceless.
