Hi Everyone, I've been a roadie for a bit now and always knew I would get a mountain bike too. I want to get something good for the right price. Don't know a lot about mtb bikes but I would at least want to buy something could survive something like the Cape Epic. Solomon's have the Fuji Outland Pro on sale. Does anyone know if this is a good bike and if it could possibly survive something like the cape epic? Cheers

I weighed it yesterday. Not very scientific so bear with me. I used an electronic bathroom scale. Weighed myself and then myself again while holding the bike. Subtracting the two I got to 8.9kg, which was a lot less than I was expecting. It included a computer, saddle bag, with two tubes and a multi-tool with a pump, however those together weigh like nothing.

Yes, I'm picking it up today. Great price for an entry level bike. Might be a good idea just to lift some of the carbon bikes at the store to compare. Cheers

I'm looking to buy one and it has an aluminium frame and carbon fork but I can't find the weight anymore. Any ideas? Thanks
