  1. Time keeping was a mess. Out of our group of 4 riders, 3 did not record finishing times. Organisers had to write down details on a piece of paper!... As for prize giving, what happened to Grand Master women (45km)?.... Venue was great but I came to realisation that altitude and mud do not make great bed fellows!!!
  2. They announced that riders finishing all 5 events will receive an email for shirt sizes. I guess details re collection will be included in email.I entered and finished all 5 but somehow got DNF on Saturday. Waiting for response to my email......Eish, I worked hard for that shirt!!!
  3. Put on slicks. The rolling resistance is much less especially with high tyre pressure. You will get an extra 20 km/h on a good down hill. Dont forget to lock out your front shock.....
  4. Can you believe it. I am not in the Sa Seeding results. Having entered and completed all 5 Nissan Trail Seeker events in order to qualify for the Columbia T-shirt, I am now recorded as DNF at #5!!. At the time of finishing I thought the guy with the scanner was a bit casual. I asked him to verify whether he had scanned me correctly to which he confirmed that he had. Did anyone else have the same issue? I have emailed Advendurance to investigate. What is the best site to look at results. I am using Sa Seeding, is this the best option?
  5. Live and learn that 3 arrows mean something. A similar thing happened to me comingng off the mountain at Van Galens. OTB and a big gash on the head and concussion. A very classy unconventional dismount!. Get well soon..
  6. Have ridden in all 5 Nissan Trailseeker. The best was left till last!.......The venue and organisation was the best todate. The route was nice to round off the year series. I was concerned about bottlenecks but there werent any noteworthy of comment. Well done team......Will be back next year
  7. My 1st VG...half marathon. Enjoyed the ride despite the big fall coming off the mountain around the 20km mark. Thanks to guys who stopped to sort me out. Despite a big gash on my head, puncture and cramps near the end, the ride was good. Just need to sort out the cramping though...very frustrating and certainly a sense of humour killer.
