Enjoy it guys, am down in Plett but as a JMBC member counting this as a big ride to miss! Did the Tour de Jozi a few months back and the JMBC rides are always so well organised
  4. haha!!!!!!!!!!!! A bit of lateral thinking...like the way you work!
  5. I did Tokai for the first time last weekend (on a trip down from JHB to CT (after doing Jonkershoek in Stellies on the saturday avie...) What an awesome area to ride in, had a great time and can't wait to get back!
  6. that's pretty poor form...
  7. I'm also still shopping around and have received very good feedback about JHB mountain bike club (much cheaper, and very organised ito organizing weekend rides etc.) Unfortunately no discounts in purchasing from Clab or magazine benefits etc... but then thats not the end of the world!
  8. haha, eating those words now I think!
  9. myself and fiance also tentatively in! We went for a ride today and actually spoke about doing northern farms at some point (as we've only done Logwood and MTN Cycle Park (on numerous occasions) and never NF! Also doing the Magaliesberg Conservancy race the next morning, so will probably take it relatively easily at NF if we do make it through! Keep me posted on details! Thanks! Woodee

  11. Hi All I am looking to find out about the various mountain biking groups in the Sandton/fourways/lonehill/Bryanston area. I go for weekend rides with mates of mine and am looking for some more structured rides of various difficulties. My fiance is also getting into riding and needs to be able to join up with some more entry level to intermediate rides, as she can't always be expected to keep it going with all the guys. Please let me know what the options are, and what it means in terms of joining/membership/costs etc. I'd like to start doing a lot more races and sometimes battle to find out about them without either searching on here or entrytime etc, so am assuming a club would be the right way to go as they'd be in the know? Thanks in anticipation... Woodee
