Considering to convert my 26er to tubeless. Question, which tyres should I get? I enjoy single track and technical riding but alas want to also have speed on the jeep track. Anyone know of any good deals/sales in the Cape Town Stellenbosch area? All the tyres all seem to be 500rand or more per tyre. Yikes!

And how about the shimano acera front derailer? Wes-0 (above) says he would not recommend them.

Well there is a titan calipso sport 26er and tital sport 650b 26er available but not so sure they are as good as the spectra.

There is verly litle left in last years stock in any of the shops and the next stock is pricy. I have a choice between Silverback spectra 2 and giant revel 0 disc. There are a couple of other bikes on sale but these look the best. What do yall think????

Has anyone got anything bad to say about the deore range of derailers. I am looking to buy one of these bikes (http://www.silverbacklab.com/2011_website_SILVERBACK/spectra2_13.htm ; http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-za/bikes/model/revel.0.disc/12797/59400/) but a mate of mine told me stay away from the deore derailer. I am confused.

they only have 2 options for me Titan sport and tital sport 650b (a little over my price range). Looks like the new stock is more expensive, must be down t exchange rates.

Just rang them they have just one bikle in my size and they said that most of the old stock is out of stock. Most of the bikes they have are out of my price range (r6000 max)

Man there are so not enough bikes available in a small frame. So alas I have 2 bikes on my mind now. the giant revel 0 disc and silverback spectra 2. Any input?

I (small female) am looking to buy my very first mbt bike, woohoo!!! I have been looking at the following and would appreciate any reviews good or bad on them: Silverback stride 10, Silverback Senza 1 and the Meridia Matts TFS 300.
