Did a ride at hakahana on saturday...really upgraded since last year... hope waterpoints wil be increased as well ..last year i filled my camelbag at a tap which tasted like gemors... but overall one of the top races for me! Hope i make it down in one piece this year

Thats crazy !!! Some of those downhills are worse than anything van gaalen has to throw... but yea i would also compare the race to van gaalen ...same type of terrain and climbing...

Dis the 70 last year as my first 70km ever... felt like it never ended.... serius climbing , lots of teqn downhills like the bunnychow section...would like to see someone ride it , i ended.up in a thorn bush halfway down it with a severely bruised ego... in my mind one of the top 3 hardest races the others being the monster and van gaalen... good luck all riders for some unknown reason im going to enter once again ...want dis mos leker man lekker!

Haha did the 70km monster...but doing the half sunday due to other plans on saturday... do you guys know which route will be followed on the half? Concrete strips? Daggapad pomphuis and oom piet? Cant seem to open the advendurance website today to have a look at the maps... good luck to all of you pack your teqn skills and leave any fear of downhills at home!!!

Hoping for a sub 5 ...took me 4 hours to complete last years hakahana nissan trailseeker event...do you guys think its a bit ambitious? Fitness level has improved a small amount since then.... you guys know how to make the newbies to this race verry anxious! Haha hope you all have a great race and remember to keep the rubber side down...

Was a great event !!! Had a awesome time and could see all the effort that patrick and team putt in... each rider on the day was given a time and a position. Loved the teqn downhills, not childsplay but everything can be ridden without breaking a bone. Thanks guys you will definately see me in future events and races...keep up the good work!!!

Hey guys I would love to enter this event, went to their website but could not find the vangaalen race only the 3 day one and walkthe rhino... Where on this website do I need to go? And what's the fee for the 50km? Thanks guys hope to enter and see you there!

Hey guys can't wait for ts van gaalen... Doing the 40km this year, hopefully the 70km next year. Do you guys know what trails the 40km wil follow ? I'm quite familier with van gaalens trails, thanx guys and goodluck to all of you on race day!!!
