Event Name: Like2bike Like2Duo kids event #1 When: 9 September 2018 Where: Riversands Farm Village, Gauteng Category: MTB A duathlon series especially for kids! We have had a introductory duathlon at our Like2bike event's, but now we bring you the real mccoy duathlon series, where the kids will run,bike,run. There are 3 distances to choose from: Power , Mid, and Lite. There is a schools challenge too, where we encourage you to get your schools involved and see who will be crowned the overall schools duathlon champ. Great prizes are up for grabs. We will also have a fun 5, and 10km bike ride. Event Name: Like2Bike Kids event #4 When: 22 July 2018 Where: Cradlemoon Lakeside Game lodge, Gauteng Category: MTB Join us for the 4th event in the kids Like2Bike series! Mom/dad you ride/run for free when you enter your child. A R30 conservation fee, per person, is payable at reception on the day. Your childs' conservation fee is included in their entry. A great experience to share! All pre-entries receive a goody bag, and all children, a medal after their ride. These fun kids cycling and duathlon events are hosted at child friendly cycling venues across Gauteng. Distances include; a 2km (recommended age 2-4), 5km (5-7 yrs), 10km (8 + yrs ), 15/20km (9 + yrs). As well as a duathlon option, which is a 2km run, followed by a 10km ride, or a 1km run, followed by a 5km ride. Whilst this is a fun series, we aim to entrench good riding etiquette while fostering a love for the sport. Event Name: Beaulieu Challenge MTB & Trail Run 2018 When: 10 June 2018 Where: Riversands Farm Village, Gauteng Category: MTB The Beaulieu Challenge is an annual fund raiser set to enhance the educational, cultural and sporting experience for the children of Beaulieu Preparatory School and its chosen beneficiaries. It’s aim is to unite and expand the community interest in outdoor activities and healthy living. The Beaulieu Challenge aims to leave a legacy of permanent, controlled, safe, secure and sustainable world class multipurpose trail systems for mountain biking, trail running, hiking and walking enthusiasts in the Greater Kyalami Conservancy and surrounds. This will insure the longevity and protection of the countryside's fauna and flora.
