I came across the simplesam bicycles. I am just wondering if maybe someone has experience with them? Are they worth the R4600? http://simplesam.co.za/collections/bicycles

In Gauteng the roades are not that good and there are not everywhere bicycle pathways. Will a road bike like the roadrat, still be a good option? Will the wheel frame (cannot remember the word in english) be okay? How much would a cotic roadrat cost, approximately? Just to get an idea. I am just unsure, because every one on campus has a mtb, only seeing one or two road bike. Thanks for the help.

I am looking for a bike to go to campus and other places around the city. Can one use a road bike for that or must i rather buy a mtb? Will the tires survive when one drives next to the road? Thanks

I am looking for a nice bicycle to ride to the Uni. My friend is selling his silverback Phoenix for R3000. The specs: - Tubeless 26" Maxiss tires - Medium Frame size - Hydraulic disc brakes - Shimano Deore Shifters - SLX Derailers - Shimano Pedals - XCR Suntour Shocks - New Cassette, Chain and Brakes Is it a good bike or should I rather look for another one? I am also not sure about tubeless tires. I have no experience with them. Thanks.
