    Agreed. Unfortunately they werent performing as hoped in the initial few days so a lot of emotions at play. Still i would have preferred a protest free comp, so unhappy with all parties, and the UCI officials could have played a better role in resolving the whole issue. If its true that fedgroup also got 1 hr for littering then I can see why they bitched. Anybody know a team thats been fined for littering recently?? And the protest wheel does turn, so Scott's turn probably up next in 2015!

    Lets face it, a very dumb decision made probably due to pent up frustration on the track. Definitely it was wrong but he only thought about it for a few seconds before acting. Scott however had hours to think about their decision to protest and could have handled things a lot better, with a few choice words of their own and left it at that. Disappointing that they spoiled the african jersey as a competition with that penalty. And it is interesting how they suddenly decided to start outcasts in the 2nd batch from then on...?

    What are we to say about this? Looks like a shortcut, inside line, off the track, no marking tape, passed 2 riders and then finished the sprint ahead of them. Probably worth a protest no?

    The issue seems to be about overtaking. So if there is a dual track that is blocked and you pass through the bush on the side does that mean you are riding off the track and should be penalised? Are you expected to stay behind the slower riders until they let you pass?
