Just a heads up fellow MTB fans, I was attacked today on my way home after a ride at 12:45. Happened at the speed camera past Kayamandi. The guy grabbed me from behind, jumped out of the bushes. He tore my BMT top grabbed my cellphone and tried to take my bike, but I had my porridge. He ran away, unfortunately I could not catch him#besafe

Hello MTB fans, Just received my Garmin 810 ...I need some intructions on how to download maps/routes from Garmin connect. How do I see routes from other riders that I can download? I am in the Stellenbosch area so would prefer maps/routes of the area. Any advice would be good please. Thanks Rall

Hi fellow MTB fans, I am looking at getting the Garmin 810...Just a quick question. Can the Garmin 810 load "maps" of other riders? I am talking about routes through Jonkershoek/Eden as example? If so, how easy is it to follow the route instructions whilst riding? I ask these questions in bike shops and funny enough the people that are selling these products do not know the answers. Thanks

Hello fellow MTB fans, I am moving to Stellenbosch(Nooitgedacht) from Blouberg this weekend. I started Mountain Biking again and I am looking to ride with some groups or inidividuals to get fit and also to get to know Die Bos. I am a average rider at this stage...whatever that might mean. BMT apparently also do group rides, but I am not sure if I will be able to keep up with the pro's! Any average riders out there riding in groups? Cheers, Rall
