I suppose it will be a little uncomfortable but keep in mind I've never been on a road bike so not sure what it should feel like . Guess the positive side is that I'll get use to it from the beginning.

thanx guys I appreciate the input. But what do you mean by seat post type? thought its just the length that would matter?

the frame size is correct, but after its all build I'll take it in to our local bike shop and have it fitted

Good day I hope I started this in the correct area. I am a mtb cyclist and entered into the momentum 94.7 race on the 16th of Nov this year. That said I decided it would be a nifty project to build up a road bike for the race and occasional ride. The problem is that I don't know a thing when it comes to road bikes. I acquired a Raleigh 4000 frame which aught to arrive on Thursday. If anyone has any ideas about the specs of this frame or any tips for me it would be appreciated.
