Non-sense. They knew exactly what they were doing and there is no excuse. Someone that built a business like these two and became major role players in the market know exactly how business is run - legally and illigally. Its not hard getting your hands on minutes, somehow and someway they come out - the reason it was put on paper was to ensure that everyone part of the cartel lives up to what was discussed and there are no "he said this" or she said that" situations. Its happened over and over again internationally - big or small companies everyone wants as much money as they can get.... They not trying to protect their business - they are trying to make more money and enrich themselves. I do agree with your last paragraph.
