  1. Thank you. Will shop around tomorrow.
  2. Hi All. Wondered if someone could help me. I am looking for the long thin cable ties that you use to fit the computer on your handlebars. +/- 200mm x 2mm. I searched on Hellermann Tyton's site as well but could not find the thin long ones as supplied with the computer. Please help!!
  3. SHIMANO BR M395. Certain brake shoes are painted on the back. Jip
  4. Did so but hard to believe the noise was generated by the contact between the brake pistons against the back of the brake shoes and not the contact between pads and rotors. The way to test this is to spray a bit of water on the rotor. If the brake squeal subsides then the problem is between pad and rotor. If the squeal persists the problem is between the contact between the back of the brake pads and the brake caliper pistons.
  5. Hi Guys I have been battling with brake squeal for quite some time now and have noticed that many other riders complain as well. It became so bad that I sometimes avoided rides with friends because of the excessive noise. I tried all the advice. Cleaning and sanding and even burning of brake shoes and rotors. Realigning brakes. You name it. Ended up buying new brake shoes and rotors. Same noise!!! I then took the brake shoes out and sanded them on the back of the brake shoes where the paint is until they were smooth. I then polished them with braso until smooth and shiny. I then applied a very thin layer of copper slip and "Wallah". No more brake shoe squeal. Hope this helps.
