Hey there I have also just confirmed entry for next year. I have been riding matts pro hd tail for a while. Will be upgrading frame to full suss as well. Looked at Giant anthem xo, as well as merida. Let me know your findings. Will probably train on my merida hard tail for next few months to get over the initial costs of entering. Trevor

Thanks very much for the reply. I guessed that was so, in fact rode the vigne vigne yesterday on my hard tail and the fx80 terra logic not the best on downhill technical parts. I have sourced the new giant anthem x ltd edition 09 frame, and am putting rest of my parts onto it. Any thoughts on a good 100m fork and prices.

Does anyone know how well a fox fx80 front fork will work on a giant anthem x full susser. Many Thanks

I have a merida matts pro hard tail 18 ' frame i am going to need to get rid of as i am upgrading to full suss. Really great lightweight frame, any ideas about price of these. Still in great condition.

Thanks for the responses I try to ride about four days per week (12 hrs), up to now half road half trails around cape town. Road getting a little hectic, so will do most training off road. Racing mtb marathons and multi stage- if i can finally get an epic entry- Hope this gives an idea on what riding i do, and helps with what frame might be the best - around 11 k

Your Assistance would be greatly appreciated I have been riding a merida matts pro hard tail for 4 years, and am wanting to move to a full suspension frame. Looking at frame only and have been offered Felt virtue, BMC o2, and Trek Fuel8, all for around 11 k which is within my budget. These are new frames albeit o7 models.
