Event Name: Jakhals MTB Challenge When: 27 August 2016 Where: Arendsrus Country Lodge, Western Cape Category: MTB EVENTS August 27, 2016 Jakhals Mtb Challenge Some of the highlights of this year's Jakhals Mtb Challenge is the fact that the race will start at Arends Rus Country Lodge and will take the riders from there on brand new routes through the Outeniqua mountains and the Strawberry Farm near Blanco to finish on the Oval Track inside the George Show Grounds. The terrain wil include gravel roads and jeep track as well as single track. There will be catered for all levels of fitness as well as experience in the following distances: 55km, 35km and 15km. The event will be part of the Eden Cycling XCO series. As always there will be stunning waterpoints along the route. Arends Rus Country Lodge will not only be the start venue, but also a waterpoint with specially baked "koeksisters" to treat you as you are on your way to the stawberry farm. Remind your friends, family and supporters to enjoy Arends Rus famous breakfast and freshly brewed coffee, while waiting for you to pass on your way to the finish.... Of course there will be prize money for the first 3 overall men & women on the 55km as well as the 35km races, lots of lucky draws, finishers medals and a special surprise from our new sponsor Oacksrest Vineyards Guest Farm.
