Does anyone have any knowledge / experience of the Momsen AL229 Racing?

I can't find any reviews - only of the AL229 which is a different bike and about R6000 less in price.
The fork is a RockShox RECON Silver Air Suspension Fork – Solo Air with 100mm Travel. Is this any good...
I'm looking for a bike for Tokai, Greenbelt etc Perhaps some shortish 'races'

For a National event why are volunteer marshals being used, instead of traffic officials with the correct authority to make the idiot truck driver stop?
Exactly! Surely national events should have traffic police in force?
Pay the overtime or whatever it costs - is a rider's life not worth doing it?

Just heard from family in Wellington that a female cyclist was killed outside Wellington this morning.
Not sure what happened.
All I heard was that she was busy training.

I saw a Giant xtc Aluxx SL 26er size Large for sale in Wynberg yesterday.
It's a white frame with red accents (2012?) - couldn't get a serial number.
Blue Chris Willemse sticker on the chain stay; one white and red Giant bottle holder, one black holder. Back tyre is well worn.
Why am I suspicious?
1. It still has trail dirt on it - even if I was selling to a pawn shop I'd wash my bike.
2. There is an inner tube taped to the seat post.
Although as you'll have to replace wheels and tyres perhaps less... R2500?

and deal with the manufacturer as far as possible.
