  1. Either get buyer to get the bank to send you confirmation directly or wait until funds are cleared in your account before sending with couriers.
  2. Paid for the part, but not the full retail price. No such thing as a freeby .....that would be very nice.
  3. After reading about the Specialized Rep in the rant and rave column titled "I am speechless", I am left wondering if I have made the smartest choice with regard to bike manufacturer. I have a 2007 Tarmac S-Works Road bike- large (Gerolsteiner colour - black with blue trim), and after having an accident and damaging the forks, I received "new" forks under a crash replacement warranty from Specialized. On collection of the bike, I was shocked to see blue forks with red trim fitted to a black frame with blue trim. I tried to calm down and waited patiently for an explanation. The sales assistant explained the situation to me - in essence Specialized did not have a matching replacement fork for a bike that was a mere 2 years old. By the way, did I mention that the fork replaced under a "crash warranty claim" was a used fork. How did I know this? Well, I managed to peel the colours off the fork.........yip red vinyl applied. So after having spent well over R 100 000-00 on Specialized bikes, (2 x road bikes, 1 x mtb), I am left wondering........... why? A 2 year old bike and I cant get matching replacement forks??????????? If anyone at Specialized has a solution to my problem, please mail me or alternatively, if there is anyone who has matching forks for sale, whether bike shop owner or private person - please help. Thanks Ex-Specialized Fan
