I wouldn't agree on 70/30, maybe more of 60/40 - male/female then i would agree with the prize money. It doesn't matter how much we debate about this topic, it's not gonna change anything unless we as the public do something about it instead of sitting on our @$$ the whole time and twiddle our thumbs... Maybe if we all work together and get more ladies to ride and possibly get a sponsor, then there should be some peace... Hopefully.

Well then i guess you would have no brains because you would be the first to climb off your bike and walk the drop off and wash yourself at every water point if you lucky enough to get there on time, lol and maybe thats the reason you don't ride MTB!!!

I should actually say that MTB is actually for the real riders, it might not be as fast but it is way more exciting than road and you get a better scenery...

Yes exactly, we all train just as hard as the men, we won't be as fast as the males due to the fact that males are techically faster than us(that testosterone thingy) and you can't make a female race against a male because it is virtually impossible and totally unfair becuase the male will always win with the same amount of training, so the fact still remains that women should get equal prize money... You can't expect to get more entrants just over 1 race either... It will take some time over a couple of races...

Well if you had to think of it, that money that they win they keep for themselves if they wanted to. I think equal prizemoney should be given to male and female in each category because we all ride the same route, we all suffer the same and we all feel pain in some way or another and everyone wants something in the end. If the prizemoney was equal then it would be worth it for us females to actually look forward to any race and you would have more females riding and it doesn't matter how many team members are in the top 5, because then you know that they can work together well and are good riders!
