unfortunately a poor turn out and even worse very very poor organisation. There was a lack of marchals and thank god the leading junior girl (pair) in the 50KM race were not run over by that car at one of the intersections along Lynnwood road (it was literally milimeters). The organisers should do the honorable thing and refund those riders who did not finish because they took the wrong route.

Anyone have a bike stolen in the Pretoia East area ( 7/5/12 @ 18h00). Saw a young homeless guy riding a road bike on Delmas road. He turn into the rubbish dump behind the half built Villa shopping complex. It was already dark but from what i could see it appeared to be quite a good bike; small in size (50.52), whitish in colour with new campag or shimano equipement ( concealed cables). Gave chase but he rode into the veld, security was not much help. call me if you need more info 0823356177.
