My Wahoo Elemnt has started giving very low elevation gain readings over the last 3 months. Compared to previous rides on same route I.e 600m on previous ride is now showing not even 200m. I sometimes go 15kms (mtb) on hilly terrain and it only shows 5m climbing. I have cleaned it and used Prestik on the holes at the back. Any help or ideas here is appreciated?? Wahoo support told me it is down the lifespan of the device. Its about 2.5yrs old. Surely not?
