Event Name: Divas 'n Dukes MTB Extravaganza When: 20 August 2016 - 21 August 2016 Where: The Thatch Cafe, Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng Category: MTB A special and unique Ladies and Couples Stage Race, presented by The Leverage Corporation taking place from Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st August 2016 starting and ending at The Thatch Café, next to the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve in The Cradle of Humankind. The race accepts entries for ladies and men solo rides and mixed teams only. No men’s-only teams allowed. The focus will be on mountain bike fitness over two days and not too much on technical ability – allowing the opportunity for female riders of all levels of competence to experience stage racing. Don’t be fooled, the race will test your fitness, but the aim is to allow experienced mountain bikers to partner with a less experienced mountain biker –still be competitive – and ultimately enjoy the thrills and challenge of stage racing. So let’s summarise what you will get 1. Two great rides in the form of a 45km and a 40km route. 2. Unique riding – access to private land in The Cradle of Humankind 3.
