hey, i'm a beginner cyclist and would really appreciate some help when it comes to deciding on my first bike! My budget isn't large at around 3k, but i do want a cheap reliable bike because i'm just experimenting at the moment! I will get myself another bike soonish, late next year hopefully! I've been offered a avalanche stratus for 1k, and i'm thinking of getting it, its cheap and i think i'll apply the first car principle, first car should be crappy, or at least pretty cheap! Suggestions would be appreciated

Plus, i'll most likely upgrade my bike sometime next year, quite late in the year, i just want a cheap bike to experiment with. What do you suggest????

Hey I've been offered a Avalanche Stratus for R1000 Has no seat, so i will need to get a seat and it needs to be serviced Just wondering if its worth it or not? I'm a beginner so i don't need a fancy bike. Weight is 6 Kg's at the moment, so thats with no seat and bottle's, so not race ready.
