Good day Posting on behalf of my brother in law (UK based). He is looking for a partner for next years Epic. He will finish comfortably and will be coming to SA for 5 weeks in December to get some base training. The partner obviously has to pay his own part of the entry. :-)

I'm looking for a partner for the race & do not have an entry. I've done the Transrockies stage race in Canada & regularly do 1/2 marathons and triathlons (no problem being in shape for the race). Hi, I'm looking for a 2015 Cape-Epic partner. I have already secured an entry and I’m looking for someone who can split the cost. I’m 40 years old and therefore qualify to race in the Masters Category. Realistically I would like to aim for a Top 80 finish Overall but secretly I wish I can go top 50 J Some race history: 2014 Trans Karoo 240 MTB race – 25th Overall 2013 Bridge Cape Pioneer Trek - 11th Solo Category Completed 5 Attakwas Ultras and my best time was 06h19 2013 MTN Ultra’s (Tulbagh and Gravel Travel) I’m also already entered for the 2014 Bridge Cape Pioneer trek and the 2015 Attakwas that will form part of my training towards the 2015 Cape Epic. We were luckily and secured an early entry for one of our team. But the second was rejected to the lottery and unfortunately didn't get an entry. So we are looking for a entry to be able to participate at 4 with our 2 Bikers Team 21 teams (Belgium). Hi united bikers Unfortunately my teammate have to sign off for the upcoming Cape Epic 2014 this days due to medical reasons. Now I'm looking for a new partner. Some words about me: I'm 44 years old and live in Switzerland. I'm a newbie to cape epic - it's my first time. We booked as a mixed team the standard agreement (sleeping in the tent) – I think, category changes will be possible. My primary goal is to finish all stages of the race within the maximum stage time and with a good feeling, total time or ranking/position is secondary. I fairly trained well the last months … but I also have had work, spend time with family etc. (not only biking & training). I also finished similar one-day competitions with more than 100 km distance an over 3’000 m climbing. I also finished several running marathons (Berlin, Jungfrau etc.). My English is sometimes a bit poor (thanks god for google translator). If you think, you’ll be a good team complement with the same or similar goals; don’t hesitate to write back some words. I’m interested especially in: Some more information about you (age, family?, …) Your goals and expectations to Cape Epic. We spend for the arrangement something about ZAR 25’000 (half entry fee, nutrition service, timing deposit) per person. Team/Category changes will cost additional ZAR 2’500. Feel free to make me an offer, what part of the cost you will or you can take over – I hope, it will be somewhere between ZAR 0 and ZAR 27’500 ... I’m glad to hear from you. Regards Daniel

Hi guys, I hurt myself and we need to find someone who could ride instead of me. We need an UCI rider who is able to do top 25 men category. Unfortunately it is not a free entry so the rider would have to pay my spot. So it would be great if you know someone who I could ask. Thank You. Cheers Tom
