  1. Amer Sports, which owns Mavic and other outdoors brands, has just announced their acquisition of ENVE Composites for $50 million in cash. The official statement (copied after the break) says the deal expands Amer Sports’ operational scale, which seems interesting considering ENVE’s comparatively small manufacturing facility in Ogden, Utah.
