  1. Hello Everyone, I lost my partner for the Cape Epic 2019. He won't be in the country for those date. I am then actively looking for another partner to run the Cape Epic with me. I am French, 34 years old and I have been living in Sandton for the last 2 years. I weight 69kg and my FTP is currently at 247 watt. (training to get to 260 watt and 65kg by the race). Ideally, I would like someone with the same level as me, living not too far so we can train before the race. This would be my first Cape Epic (I only raced Berg and Bush and 947 this year). Cost : 41k rand Thanks, Romain
  2. Hi all, I ам looking for a partner for Absa Cape Epic 2019 - I have a Early bird entry but unfurtunately the friends I have been racing with before in other races are not able to participate in this Race. It is more important that your are a good partner than a fast rider - we are not here to win but definately we will race our best. I am 28 year old and from Denmark former swimmer with a good physical condition that are about to be adapted to a MTB. I have participated in other MTB races in south africa but I don't have decades of experience riding a MTB but a fast learner. The goal is to reach the startline and complete the race to gain more experience for the following years of Cape Epic races. Best Philip
  3. Haven't been successful with the lottery, now my partner and I are looking for an international CE 2019 entry. Regards, Jan
  4. Dear Valued Hubbers, We are honoured to be competing at the 2019 ABSA Cape Epic mountain bike race, in support of CANSA. (www.cansa.org.za) Our goal is to help raise awareness and funds for CANSA in support of their fight against cancer. We are very grateful to be offered this opportunity to help those who are affected by this disease, and we wish to contribute to this cause. We can do so with your support - together we can make a difference! We therefore kindly ask that you please support our cause and the fight against cancer, by making a donation, no matter how small - every cent helps, to CANSA at the following link: https://www.givengain.com/ap/cansaheroes/# (all proceeds will go directly into CANSA's bank account). We are also selling advertising space on our racing kit to companies who wish to donate to this cause. All proceeds will go directly to CANSA, who will in return issue tax certificates to donating companies. Please share with all your family and friends. Also follow us for upcoming fundraiser events! Many thanks for your kind support! Riaan van Wyk & Jacques Lotriet
