Hi guys, I just bought a ks lev ci dropper from a hubber. No complaints at all except the twisting play. Is this normal? There feels like quite a lot... Please can you give me any info or any advice on how I can fix it. Regards Kai

I am looking at getting a OneUp Dropper Post (the new V2 model) for my bike, and need some advice on which lever to get. I have a Shimano brake with I-SPEC EV clamp, so I would like a compatible lever to fit that. Obviously OneUp has their own lever, but I see a lot of talk about the Wolftooth lever as well. Does anyone have an preference over which lever to go for or any other alternatives that work great?

I don't normaly create topics, and have a primary post focus for technical input. And stay away from the yif yaf discussions. However I feel compelled to give a huge shutout / Rave / plug whatever it is refereed as, to Lyne Components. I am by no means affiliated to them in any way but just appreciate their commitment, excellent service and products. I currently use their dropper posts, AMP wheel-sets, bars and stems, and in my opinion the products exceed performance, style and bang for buck in today's trends and market. Their service by far exceeds expectations from sales to returns and more... Yes, I have returned a dropper before for some issues. Not so much a return as a no questions asked overnight door to door swap for a new unit.... Dayle even went to extra lengths, sourcing not for sale spare pits for a personal faux pas on a dropper post. Leading the way in service delivery....Thank you! So big up's to them!

Hi ladies and gents, My giant dropper post cartridge is seized at the actuator button on the top, so the unit does not lock in the upper position or allow it to be dropped. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement cartridge? Hi all I am thinking of putting a dropper seatpost on my 29er Alu hardtail. So I have been eyeing the Lynne 31.6mm 120mm dropper, and the Giant 125mm dropper for which I'll need a 30.9mm-31.6mm shim which seems hard to find. They are similarly priced at around 2.2k. There is also the Forca SPS-400 on special for around 2k but it seems to have a rougher spring mechanism. Does anyone know if this is a good idea? and if so which of these is a better move?

It's hard to imagine that not too long ago dropper posts where an oddity found only on custom builds and made by only a handful of manufacturers. Even though the benefits were clear, the early samples were unreliable, short on drop and needed lots and lots of care. Click here to view the article

So not having found anything like this elsewhere on BH and not wanting to clog up the Dropper Post Things Are Hotting Up thread, I thought that getting this going would be quite handy for people considering a new buy. Tried doing this via a poll, but don't think it will work very well at all and didn't want to do a Survey Monkey off HB, so hope this works. My next post will be a set of questions, quote it and populate the questions with answers. Try keep it short and sweet and to the point. My hope is that this brings the not so well known brands that work very well to light and also any problems and ones to avoid.

Guys please help me out with some advice. I am planning on getting myself a dropper post and the uncertainty I have is around the length. I've narrowed my selection down to 2 options as long as they work for me: 1) Travel 100mm / length 365mm (remote) 2) Travel 125mm / length 385mm or 420mm (lever) The length of my current post is 400mm and I ride with it at max height. So ideally I do not want to lose any of that height (for climbing, XC etc.) but I want the new dropper to drop low enough to be out of the way on the more DH type stuff. Anyone want to jump in and offer some advice? I really need it. Thanks guys..

I am taking the plunge and buying a rockshox reverb stealth for my Spez Camber. I know I must get the 380mm, as that is the same length as my current seat post (medium frame camber). My dilemma lies in the following: Do I get the 100mm or 125mm drop???? I am short, only 1.68m, and afraid the 125mm wont allow me to fully extend the seat post to suit my current seat height. Also, assuming it is 30.9mm for the Spez Camber? All feedback appreciated.
