  1. Looking to improve my riding, I ventured out to buy a power meter and did a bit of research around what was available and what the price range of these units where. Against my better judgement, in order to save a couple of bucks, I opted for the Avio power meter from Token (I think they changed the name fo the company now to Positive sport solutions). I bought it in October 2019 and initially it all worked fine. I changed batteries every two weeks but I assumed that it was normal as I was riding regularly and then in February it stopped working. I contacted Token and to resolve it but it was impossible to get an answer out of them at all. Emails were the main means of communication and I received a reply every 3-5 days if I was lucky. It's now September and I have no power meter, no communication from Token (Positive sport solutions) and am out of pocket for the cost of the power meter. Moral of the story is stay away from this power meter even if you get it for free and absolutely stay away from this dealer based in Rivonia, JHB. Unless of course you are looking forward to horrible service and an even worse product. Stick with the big brand power meters and a store that are able to deliver a basic level of service.
