I have been reading up on problem areas in Cape Town and have a particular interest in the Tableview & Milnerton area (I ride these a lot). I know the cycle lane through Paarden Eiland is always a dodgy spot but was wondering if there has been any recent incidents on the new Sandown road? Also are there any other problem areas when riding from Tableview towards Durbanville and Town. I want to set up a map of hotspots and patrol the areas over the next couple of weeks to see if a cyclist security/patrol system can be formed. I have some time and a few resources to put into this. If anyone has any suggestions and/or ideas please let me know.
