Six months ago Songo Fipaza could not float, let alone swim. On Sunday the 29th March he completed open water 3.8km swim - then topped that with the 180km cycle and 42km run in the Iron Man championship in Mandela Bay. A great cyclist and runner, Songo’s dream of competing in Triathlons would remain that –unless he could learn to stay afloat and then to swim. Click here to view the article
