  1. The Vuelta a Espana organisation committee announced the 5 wildcards for the 70th edition of the Vuelta a Espana earlier today. Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung were delighted to receive the vote of confidence from the race organisers once again, as they extended an invitation to our African team. Click here to view the article
  2. The 5th stage of the Tour of Qatar was a flat 156km from Al Zabara Fort to Madinat ash-Shamal. Once again the strong winds battered the peloton and on rough harsh roads, the racing was really nervy. Click here to view the article
  3. It was an epic battle for the 99th Ronde van Vlaanderen which Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) would eventually ride away with. Niki Terpstra (Etixx-Quickstep) was 2nd across the line with Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing) rounding out the minor placings. Click here to view the article
  4. Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung were real protagonists of the 2nd 3 Days of De Panne stage as Nic Dougall made the break of the day while the team performed a strong leadout in the finale once again. Click here to view the article
  5. Alexander Kristoff won the 1st stage of the 3 Days of De Panne, out-sprinting Jens Debusschere (Lotto-Soudal) and Stijn Devolder (Trek Factory Racing) from a 6 rider breakaway.   6. Louis Meintjes took his first European win today after a brave solo that also earned him the overall victory at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. It's the second GC win for Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung of the season, after the success at the Tour de Langkawi. Click here to view the article
  7. Sad news for MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung's classics captain Edvald Boasson Hagen. The Norwegian sustained a distal fracture of his right clavicle in a crash at the Moeren part of today's Gent-Wevelgem. He will miss out on the upcoming monuments such as the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. Click here to view the article
  8. Strong winds, cool temperatures and rain were the main sights at todays Gent-Wevelgem that saw a strong MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung line-up. The team was well positioned and stayed in contention until a big crash in the peloton disrupted the team's plans. Click here to view the article
  9. The Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali stage 1b marked the first team time trial for MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung of the season and the team just narrowly missed out on the win.   15. John Degenkolb (Giant-Alpecin) took the victory of the 106th Milan-Sanremo from a small group sprint. Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) took 2nd and Michael Matthews (Orica-Greenedge) had to settle for 3rd. After Fabian Cancellara (Trek Factory Racing) set an unbeatable time early on, the final individual time trial stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico would end up being a battle of the seconds between the GC riders.   19. In a spectacular drag race sprint finish, Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo) won the 6th Tirreno-Adriatico stage. Our very own Gerald Ciolek was the rider in 2nd place with Jens Debusschere (Lotto-Soudal) 3rd. Click here to view the article
  20. Nairo Quintana was the first rider across the snow covered finish-line on the 5th Tirreno-Adriatico stage. Bauke Mollema (Trek Factory Racing) was 39" behind the Colombian with Rigoberto Uran (Omega Pharma - QuickStep) a further 9" back. Click here to view the article
  21. 218 kilometers from Indicatore (Arezzo) to Castelraimondo were on the agenda of the day. The course had some difficult offerings in the shape of the Poggio San Romualdo, 10.8 kilometers long with an average gradient of 6.4 %, and a difficult final circuit course.   22. The Tour de Langkawi reached its peak today with the tackling hill top finish at Fraser's Hill. The climb was a late addition to the race course, after the removal of Genting Highlands. Nonetheless, its final steep 8 kilometers proved to be the perfect playground for MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung. Click here to view the article
  23. Today’s third stage of Tirreno-Adriatico lead the peloton over 203 km from Cascina to Arezzo. The short but steep uphill finish suited Greg van Avermaet (BMC) best. The Belgian took the win from Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo) and Zdenek Stybar (Etixx-QuickStep) and also moved into the Blue Leader Jersey. Click here to view the article
  24. Tyler Farrar finished fifth in the bunch sprint closing the second stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. A crash in the closing meters marred the finale, but Farrar was ahead of the scene.
