Hi folks, I have a Gen2 Kickr Core. Love it to bits. Upgraded my tri bike to Trek speed concept which has a thru-axle. Now my Kickr is “too old” and not compatible with my fancy tri bike. I am told, that the adapters that are required to configure my Kickr are not available in SA and no longer made given that the model is “too old”. Any suggestions? Totally out of my depth. I need some help please, I have searched the forums but can't find something similar. I hope I explain this well enough, otherwise I will take pictures tonight and post it here. Some background. I have a set of WTB KOM wheels with Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs, these wheels were used on a previous generation Scott Spark with QR axles. I then sold the Scott, took the WTB's off and put the standard Scott wheels back. Then I bought a Spez Camber that has thru axles on wider alloy rovals so did not do a wheel swap at that time. Now I would like to use the WTB wheels fitted with some easy rolling tyres on long training rides and races like Transbaviaans, but I need some extra parts to make the wheels work on the Spez (Front: 15X100, Rear: 12X142). The Hope Pro 2 has removable end caps to make the wheels thru axle compatible, so once I take those off the axle (diameter of hole through the wheel) is quite a bit wider than what the current maxle (and the hole through the fork) is that is fitted to the rovals. I assume I need to buy some sort of adapter axle for both wheels to make it work and fit correctly, and then some new thru axle skewers - but this is just assumptions and well we all know what they say about assumptions. I would really like to make the wheels work rather than selling them, so some advice will be appreciated

Hey guys After my ride two days ago I noticed the quick release on my front wheel's thru axle was loose. The axle was still sitting tight in the fork. (Rockshox SID fork, 15mm thru axle). Went for another ride yesterday and afterwards noticed I had lost the cam lever completely. (My own fault for not having dealt with the problem before- I admit) Maybe someone can explain how the quick release mechanism within the axle became loose? Then to my actual qustion, any one know where I can source a replacement part or another axle that can be used instead? As RockShox have none of these in stock and will have to wait a month Thanks!

Hi All. I'm thinking of converting my Santa Cruz Tallboy to thru axle at the back. it is currently quick release. Is there a conversion kit that you have to buy and where do you get it? Thanks, Alex
