  1. Has anyone done this? I was contemplating buying a set of Specialized Grid casing tires to run on Stans Flow EX rims (current model), then I came across this little bit of info on the web: " Not Recommend Tires WTB TCS and UST 29 inch tires are too tight for Stan's Notubes rims and NoTubes licensed rims such as Sun Ringle Black Flag. Specialized Grid UST Tires are very tight on Stan's Rims. *Use of sealant in non-tubeless tires may void the tires manufacturer’s warranty. " (off Stans own website) So now I'm a bit skeptical as to whether or not this setup is a good idea or not. I know I could choose from a bunch of other strong casing tires that won't pose a problem, but in my experience the Spez tires are pretty decent and, more importantly, are actually quite cheap compared to most other brands. Anyhow, if this is going to send the tire levers flying into my eyeballs I'd rather go a different route.
  2. Hi guys I have a set of Fulcrum Red Metal 3 wheels for my mountain bike - the front one I popped on a tyre (UST), inflated and it is holding perfectly. The rear tyre on the other hand... Well there's air leaking through the water drain hole (as seen in this topic http://forums.mtbr.com/wheels-tires/hole-drilled-my-new-rim-590391.html). I've applied a rim strip but to no avail. Any suggestions?
  3. Hi people I currently have a Scott Spark 60 2012 model and need to replace my tires. Currently have 2.1 x 26 Maxxis Larse TT Lust UST Tubeless and I notice that I have to inflate up too 2.3 ~ 2.5bar not to hit the rim when going through rocky trails. So I have two options, loose weight or get wider tires.....thus me looking for wider tires. I was looking at getting Michelin Wild Gripper Tubeless 26 x 2.25 at http://www.evobikes.co.za/tyres/mtb-26-tyres/michelin-wild-gripper-tubeless-26-x-2-25.html going for R500each Any other suggestions or is it a good tire?
