  1. A 24-CARAT gold bicycle with an alligator skin seat and stingray skin bottle will retail at a whopping £600,000. The huge price tag may drive people away but creators insist the money will go to charity - and buyers will have a nice bike. For £600k you can buy a luxury house, a couple of nice sports cars and holidays for a lifetime. But with this unique golden bike, you get: a customised seat cover made from brown alligator hide, a personalised water bottle made with pure gold which comes with a stingray skin cover and…plenty of fun. Maybe its not worth £600,000 but if you want a one of a kind mountain bike made of pure gold that is the price you'll have to pay. Hugh Power, CEO of creators House of Solid Gold, said the tough part about designing the bike was making sure it ridable. He said: "The price tag on the bike is only so high because most - if not all - of the proceeds will be donated to charity. "And buying the bike is more a way for the affluent who want to donate their money to a great worldly cause, and receive the bike as a token." He explained all of the proceeds will go to The Way to Happiness Foundation, which helps combat crime and violence around the world. Designers and craftsmen spent 750 hours of hard work to make the bike. And as it stands, it is the only gold bike in existence. Mr Power said the hard part was making sure it was ridable. The 57-year-old entrepreneur said: "The idea came about while I was extreme mountain biking on a similar bike. "It was during this ride that the idea was born to build a gold bike, customised with all the latest hi-tech gear. "But the true challenge I faced was to make sure that the bike would be ridable - and still able to cover 995 of the bike completely in gold." Well it worked and now he's looking to build 12 more of the luxury two-wheelers. That's almost £8million to charity if all of them sell - get buying people!
