  1. Hi everyone, I wanted to share some information about a team of guys that are embarking on an incredible cycle for mental health in South Africa at the end of the month (April 2021). The team from Cycle4MentalHealth, consisting of Manuel van der Neut & Joshua McQuirk, will be cycling unsupported from Johannesburg to Blouberg, covering a total of 1600km over the 16 day journey. Their goal is to raise funds and awareness for mental health in South Africa and they have partnered with two organizations in order to help achieve this goal; Cognition & Co, the South African Psychology Student Network & SADAG, the South African Depression and Anxiety Group. The boys would really appreciate the support from the forum, and if you have the opportunity, please head on over to their social media page (@cycle4mentalhealth) and give them a Follow and some encouragement. This will allow you to be able to track their progress along the way and send words of encouragement when the going gets tough. If you'd like to contribute to their cause, they have a BackaBuddy Page set up to collect donations. To hear more from the guys, they have just released a free podcast hosted by Cognition & Co. Click this link to take a listen. Thanks everyone in advance for your support!
