  1. Hi guys, I would love to know what your thoughts are on a 5km gravel section in a road race. You rate only for the pro's with support vehicles? Also, if you fall out of the bunch and get stuck behind a queue of Team Vehicles, it will get mega dusty. I do not have experience with this, but seriously considering adding it to one of the events. Will people bring different bikes for the specific Let a brother know.
  2. Looking for a South African mountain biking holiday in 2016? The Transkei Slowride is a five day fully catered mountain bike trail through the rural wilderness of the former Transkei, South Africa. The trail opens in March 2016 and can be ridden any time of the year. The 350 km route starts in the Drakensberg Mountains, near Naudes Nek (the highest road in South Africa) and descends through the grassy uplands of the Eastern Cape, through the spectacular Mzimvubu Valley to Port St Johns on the Wild Coast. The route takes riders through numerous unique landscapes in one of the most beautiful and rural parts of South Africa. Each day consists of 50-100 km of riding, with overnight camps in spectacular locations along the trail. The trail costs R7,500 per person and is fully catered (dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch) with accommodation provided. Bookings before January 2016 will receive a discounted rate of R5,000 per person. Check out www.slowridemtb.com or www.facebook.com/TranskeiSlowride
