  1. Hi Guys, Does anyone know whom buys carbon bicycle frames and parts that are cracked or damaged to repair? I have two frames, some saddles with cracked rails and a 29er rim that I'd like to sell and have minor cracks but could be fixed and used by someone. Just food for thought. Cheers, Matt
  2. Hi All, I am trying to figure out whether it will be worth it respraying a children's balance bike (Muna) or just buy a new one (I suspect). The bike is still in great nick, but I am considering a fresh coat of paint - especially if it needs to be passed along to the next little one. So, in the Western Cape area (Cape Town, Stellenbosch etc), where is best to find out about options and prices. Thanks PS - let this not become a thread about why I do not want to buy the next kid a new one or not. If I can get a very good paint job for 30% or less than a new bike price, the rest can go to university saving.
  3. I want to respray an old single speed I have, and I have access to a Vinyl cutter. But where can one get the font and logos to print the stickers for the frame? Does anyone on the hub know if there is an easy way to get the files for eg a Giant OCR decal kit? Rather than trying to work out what font they use and spending hours finding the correct logo etc on the web and then printing it only to see it is too big or small?
  4. Hi, does anyone know of anyone who does carbon repairs that does not cost the value of a new frame? Appreciate the referral.
