  1. Hi, I want to cycle from Cape Town to Knysna in 5 days, covering 120km a day roughly. Then run the 42km marathon, followed by a days rest and then return back to cape town via a different cycle route. 12 days all in. I'm practicsing now to ride long distances upwards of 100km. The agenda is as follows Depart Journey :Monday 4th July Knysna Arrival : Friday 8th July Marathon Saturday : 9th July Rest Sunday : 10th July Return Journey : Monday 11th July Cape Town Arrival : Friday 15 July Some questions how do you get from cape town to stellenbosch safely how do you get from strand to cape town safely road bike or gravel traveller (staying away from gravel) anyone done this yet? anyone doing something similar?I loosely following these tours as guides http://6wicks.co.za/tours/cape-town-2-knysna/ http://mytrainingday.com/pages/knysna-to-cape-town-cycle-tour-july-2016 any advice no matter how small would be appreciated from planning my rides to gps signal to staying over at homestays, b&b's etc, eating and riding, good coffee cheers
