  1. Anyone have any info on these gold Rovals? Supposedly they're for Sagan's Venge disk bike but I haven't actually seen them on a bike. Hoping he pulls them out some time during the Tour Down Under. Either way, they look sexy as heck! http://cdn.media.cyclingnews.com/2017/01/12/1/1_670.jpg
  2. ..although I have to say in my opinion the racing, so far, has been rather mediocre, maybe due to the heat and the really short stages of around 135 kms, which is a bit of a jaunt for athletes at this level. Caleb Ewan however has been the shining star of the event, seems no one can even get near to his wheel when he gets going and he is a really tiny guy, certainly not a big powerhouse like Griepel or Boonen. Porte looked positively anemic he was so lean, I cant ever remember seeing him so lean at SKY, but he looked on good form, maybe a good sign for the future grand tours.

  5. The Santos Tour Down Under started in the outskirts of Adelaide and lead the peloton over 138 kilometers to Victor Harbour. There were some threats that the race could be action packed at the end with clouds looming over the Crow's Nest, the days decisive climb. In the end only a small peloton of around 50 riders contested for the win. Race leader Simon Gerrans (Orica-GreenEdge) had the best legs. Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Nathan Haas flew the flags for Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka, coming home in 6th and 9th position. Click here to view the article
