  1. I have a client who is blind and amazingly has her own business and participates in various sporting events. She needs help, below is taken from the Facebook post yesterday (which was also shared on a few community groups). The riding companion can be either male or female. Jessica can be reached directly on info@jwspa.co.za or 082 440 3316: I am the Admin of this FB page, here to tell you about Jessica Green Grib who is the owner of Jessica's Wellness Studio and independent distributor of Annique and Tupperware products, with her own online store www.jwspa.co.za. This is her amazing story, featured in today's Roodepoort Record: "Visually impaired cyclist, Jessica Grib, is looking for a partner to cycle with her at the annual Wilro Lions Cycle Challenge. The 36-year-old has already started training for the 5 November competition at the Aspire Strength and Conditioning Gym, with the help of Jacques Peche and Charmaine Michael. Jessica needs a tandem bicycle and a pilot, that is, someone who will take the lead seat as they cycle the race." 2. HI Guys I am extending this cause to the public. It come out of my Athletics and Triathlon club based in Bedford. We are trying to raise enough funds for one of our own to compete in Ironman 2017 PE. If she completes the race, she will be the first South African visually impaired athlete to complete the Ironman. She also happens to be one of the coolest, funniest and smartest people you will ever meet. As a visually impaired athlete she has to compete with a guide in all races. This usually means that she would need to purchase two race entries per event, for her and the guide. The guide usually does not get any reward (seldom gets even an official entry nor race number nor medal) so finding someone to give of themselves selflessly is not easy. Below is the message posted on the crowd funding website. Donations are made in pounds as its a british website. Don't be alarmed it is legit and you can even pay via your pay pal account should you require extra assurance. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/TeamJEPPEforHelen Would really appreciate any support you guys give. We are hoping to raise at least £1,000 Helen is one of us (a Jeppe Runner) who has albinism and she is visually impaired but this does not stop her from living her dream. Everyday she is faced with difficulties and obstacles caused by her condition and this is not going to stand in the way of her competing in Iron man 2017. We tend to forget just how easy it is for us to complete our daily tasks......imagine going about your normal day with only about 10 percent of your vision. You can read her full story by going to her facebook page "Helen Webb - Visually Impaired Athlete" this is one brave lady. In true JEPPE style we want to help Helen fullfil her dream by assisting her to get to Iron man 2017 and bring home that medal!
