Titan Elite?

Hi all,

 

I'm new to MTB'ing and The Hub.

 

I've started doing some single track rides on a friends bike and now want to get my own. I'm looking to spend R6,000 and would need a large. I'm not too concerned about dual suspension or having a 29er.

It's a good bike - I bought my wife a similar one last year.

What are you basing your decision on to buy a Titan? Did you shop around for other brands, or maybe even look for a good spec 2nd hand bike here on the hub.

Don,t know the Titan brand other than seen them in a few bike shops, for R6000 there are other options brands to buy new, or perhaps look at 2nd hand.

I am looking at used bikes in that price range but they seem to be few and far between down here in Cape Town at the moment. I'm getting desperate - but I know I shouldn't.....
