HOW IT WORKS

 

Time for a crazy Facebook promotion. And this one is really, really crazy. The way retail normally works is that we tell you what something costs, right? Well, this time you get to help us set the selling price.

 

We’ve got 200 Rudy Project Actyum helmets. Normal price you’d pay from anyone else R2 500. Normal price you’d pay from us – R950. Cheap hey? Well, here’s how you can make it even cheaper.

 

We’ve currently got 3670 Facebook fans. For every 100 extra fans who like our page we’ll drop the price by R50. Here’s the math: 100 people like us, the price falls to R900; 200 people like us, it drops to R850 … see where we’re going? If 1 900 new people like us, we’ll be giving them away for free (and no, if 2 000 new fans join, we will not be handing out a helmet with a 50 buck note!).

 

But there’s also a catch. Stock is limited to 200 helmets. You buy when you think the price is right. If you’re holding out for R650 and the last helmet sells at R700 you’ll have missed out. We’re not going to tell you how many have sold. But if you’re nice we might show you the occasional photo of our stock pile.
