Is this new? anyone had any experience riding out here, always thought is was merely a golf estate?

Hi All,

Olympic Footwear MTB Winter Challenge is a NEW event hosted by Edenvale Pedallers Cycling club.

 

Will be a relatively flat fast race from Serengeti through surrounding areas, finishing through Serengeti, with Start finish at the Curro Serengeti School.

 

Great for whole family.

Edenvale Pedallers will also be moving our race “The Emperors Palace Classic” to Serengeti from 2013 following the current format with MTB on the Sat & Road & Criterium on Sun.

 

Serengeti also wish to create a MTB venue on the East Rand similar to Northern Fames, etc, so watch this space for new developments.

Yes I see I'm having the same problem will address, otherwise best use Face Book page, also easier to update for event.

 

Have you tried Modderfontein MTB, great like Northern Farms, Grant cuts new tracks almost weekly, still new but gets better every week, so also a great place to ride on East Rand.

 

As for moving Road race, yes all Feb road races out in same place (Germiston/Carnival & Ride for Site), but NO race East Rand / Kempton, plus sooo much quieter than Emperors going through Boskburg, so believe it will be well received by riders.

MTB race was an embarrassment.
