The 2013 edition of the Riverlea Drak MTB Xperience sponsored by MASCOR is to be held on Sunday 22^nd September, and is hosted again at the beautiful location of Clearbrook Cottage on Riverlea Farm, Underberg, in the foothills of the stunning Drakensberg Mountains.

 

With races from the fun kiddies 5km up to the challenging 45km Classic there are options available for the whole family to come and enjoy.

 

Registration will take place at Clearbrook Cottage from 06:30 Sunday morning with racing to start from 08:30.

 

Entry Fees: Pre-entry / Late entry

 

45km Classic: R140 / R160

20km Fun: R100 / R120

10km Fun: - / R50

5km Kiddies: - / R30

 

Note: All Riders need to be CSA Licensed or R35 Temp. License on the day

Description of Course:

 

The 45km Classic and 20km / 10km Fun races will utilise beautifully prepared single track that will keep the racing keen and fast. With stunning sections alongside the Umzimkulu River, dashes through age old Oak Trees, and testing but rewarding climbs, there is something for everyone.

 

Directions:

 

From the N3 take the R617 junction at Howick signposted to Underberg. Pass through Underberg town and continue down and over the Umzimkulu River crossing. Immediately after the river take the next right turn signposted to Bushmans Nek and follow the event signs.

 

From Kokstad take the R617 north, passing through Swartberg. Immediately prior to crossing the Umzimkulu River below Underberg, turn left on the Bushmans Nek road and follow the event signs.
