Hi All !<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

What is your opinion and experience on replacing existing bearings for Ceramic ones ?

In numerous occasions I tested my rolling speed, as compared to others from group.

It showed that my wheels are slowest from all.

Is it the bearings or freewheel.

I service them, using proper grease and preload.

Is it ceramic bearings replacement to improowe the wheels ?

Is this investment worth ?

where to obtain a proper set of ceramics ?

How much it can hurt ?

Are you sure it's your rotating friction, and not aerodynamic friction?

If you replace the bearings without replacing the racers, you run a risk of the harder ceramic bearings damaging softer steel racers, resulting in more wear and tear.  I don't know how much this happens in practice.
