Do you want to take your MTB and ride it along quiet backcountry gravel roads, all the way from Gauteng to the Escarpment? If the answer is yes, and you want the peace of mind that comes from having a backup vehicle following behind, all meals and accommodation arranged, and want to do it with a small group of like minded riders, then this is definitely for you.

 

 

 

275Km of scenic cycling over 3 days, heading from Cullinan, to Loskop Dam, and then on to Dulstroom, before finally arriving at Verlorenkloof Estate, to enjoy the luxury accommodation, and rest some tired muscles.

 

Three meals a day will be provided, as well as ample refreshment along the road. Accommodation will be in Chalets and Guesthouses. The backup vehicle will carry all the needed tools, as well as a large selection of spare parts if needed. Bikes will also be washed in the evenings, so that the next day you start off on a clean and lubed biked.

 

Distances range between 68Km and 112Km per day, over generally easy terrain, with the last day being almost entirely downhill, except for one short steep climb. Riding will be on a range of surfaces, ranging from well maintained gravel road, to rutted jeeptracks, as well as a bit of tar.

 

All this for only R3650.00 pp, including Transport back to PTA/JHB after the tour.

Best part of all is you dont need to ride all the way. you can get loaded up on the backup vehicle whenever you want, but its more rewarding to ride the whole way.
