Thaba trails Blue Route gps Track?

Hi guys,

 

Does anyone have a GPS track of the longer more technical route at thaba trails? Wanna go there tomorrow and tend to get lost ;-)

Just start with the Green one and do a few blue loops. They all come back to the green loop, so wont get lost. And going up/down those section you wont have time to look at maps... You'll be hanging on to your handlebars!

I've got quite a few thaba blue GPS tracks, but they all involve me getting lost. The problem is the part b of the blue track on the koppie seems to be in the opposite direction of the xc track. It gets very confusing. Haven't figured it out. But I've enjoyed it every time. Very tough though. Rietvlei blue sections are just as confusing but not quite as tough.

Sounds like fun and pain at the same time :-)

I'll be riding tomorrow as I have a beginner with me today and I don't think that thaba is the right place to start :-)

 

Nevertheless if anybody has recorded a track where he doesn't got lost - it would be greatly appreciated ;-)

I will remind them again to try mark that b loop a bit better, also got very lost the last few times. The rest is well marked. Will upload some segment when I get to my pc.

We rode the blue on Friday afternoon - it was really awesome but gave me a bit of a beating... There were still a couple of forks in the road and i'm not sure if we always took the right route on the B loop but we had a great ride!
