A friend of mine and I are doing a challenge to raise funds for research

on Type A Breast Cancer being done at Stellenbosch University. I am a MTBer

and she a hiker. Together we have committed to do 5000km in 2013 to raise

funds for this cause. I will do 4000 and she will do 1000. AT this stage I

am 2/3 of the way and she is past half way. A mutual friend has recently

been diagnosed with stage 4 of the HER2 negative strain of breast cancer

and this prompted me to get involved with her and some other friends’ cause
